I couldn’t, for the life of me figure out how to keep my daughter’s hair moisturized. I’ve tried super deep conditioners, prayer, and slathering on oils of many varieties. Nothing worked. Until I took the time to learn more about her hair type. She’s a low porosity gal, so after scouring the Internet I found a baking soda treatment recipe that would help her hair suck in moisture… That sat in her hair for about 15 minutes. Before rinsing her hair I squeezed some honey into our Aussie Moist conditioner. I applied a generous amount, pinned her hair up and let her play in the tub while I read a book (gotta love little opportunities like this). Immediately after rinsing the honey infused conditioner out of her hair I added some coconut oil and let her hair air dry a bit. Her curls were popping and her hair was shiny but not greezy. With that said… I think we’ve found a regimen that works for baby girl.
